Surface preparation: |
Sand unpainted wooden surfaces and thoroughly remove dust and dirt to obtain good adhesion. Treat new wooden surfaces with a primer or enamel for windows and doors diluted with 10% water. After drying, if necessary, sand between layers. To clean early painted surfaces from fragile old paint and varnish coatings. Surfaces previously painted with alkyd or oil paint should be sanded to matt, cleaned from dust and dirt. Metal surface treatment: clean metal from rust, dust, dirt, scale, degrease. Treat with an anti-corrosion primer. Remove fragile parts of old paint and varnish coatings, loose peeled rust from painted surfaces. Sand until matt. Remove dust, dirt and degrease. Treat with an anti-corrosion primer. |
Staining : |
Stir the enamel thoroughly before use, if necessary dilute to working viscosity with water, but not more than 10%. Apply the enamel in 1-2 layers. The second layer is applied after the first has dried, within 2 hours. Surface and ambient temperature and during drying: minimum + 5°С |
Drying time: |
at a temperature of +20°C and a relative humidity of 65%, the drying time of one layer of paint is 1-2 hours. At lower temperatures and wetter weather, the drying time is correspondingly longer. |
Consumption: |
1l / 8-10m2 when applied in one layer. The exact consumption are established by trial application to the work surface. |
