We are glad to announce that from July 1, 2023 we are expanding the possibilities of tinting our products by color shades with another international NCS palette and are already accepting applications for tinting all our paints now according to the two main international systems RAL (Germany) and NCS (Sweden). These palettes successfully complement each other, providing a wide range of possibilities for a variety of design solutions.
NCS - abbr. Natural Color System formed using 6 basic colors: white, black, red, yellow green and blue. The latest edition of the NCS catalog has 1950 shades, which are obtained by mixing a different proportion of each of the main 6 colors. Each hue name contains an index of darkness and saturation, as well as a percentage of each color. NCS is widely used in interior design as well as in the textile industry.
The disadvantages of NCS sometimes include incomplete coverage of the color space and limited applicability of this color system, however, in those areas where it is applicable, it is worth noting a high degree of accuracy in hitting the shade, and independence from the manufacturer of paints and pigments. NCS is called the natural color system because of the ease of understanding how its shades are formed. They practically do not intersect with the RAL system, so they are often used together.
