Description and characteristics of the BIO Base surface disinfectant
An innovative product. A new generation of universal high-performance disinfectants with a wide range of applications. The patented environmentally friendly and safe product is a solution of zinc and copper in alcohol of the highest degree of purification. Effectively destroys almost the entire spectrum of pathogenic bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites. The disinfecting activity of the drug is based on the bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal and ovicidal properties of zinc and copper. The disinfectant has: bactericidal properties against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (including mycobacterium tuberculosis), virucidal (including causative agents of AIDS / HIV, hepatitis, poliomyelitis, influenza viruses, etc.), fungicidal (including candidiasis, dermatophytes, etc.) and sporicidal properties. Disinfection methods
Disinfection with the BIO Base antiseptic is carried out by the aerosol method, the method of small-drop irrigation, wiping, soaking or dipping. In everyday life, it is recommended to carry out disinfection of surfaces by the method of small-drop irrigation (application from a sprayer on pre-cleaned surfaces). After such treatment, the drug forms an invisible organic zinc-copper film on the surface, which, until its mechanical abrasion, reliably protects everything treated with the drug from infection. Adding the drug to contaminated water during mopping reduces the quality of disinfection, since inorganic contaminants in the container can neutralize organic zinc compounds and reduce its effectiveness.
Physical and chemical properties
BIO Base disinfectant is a colorless liquid with a blue tint. It mixes well with water in any ratio. Working solutions of the drug are colorless or slightly colored, depending on the composition of the water used for dilution. In the recommended application modes, they do not damage products made of metals (including aluminum), glass, rubber, plastic bags, paintwork and electroplating, do not discolor and do not reduce the strength of the fabric.
The BIO Base surface disinfectant does not fix organic contaminants on the surfaces of treated objects, it is well washed off from the treated surfaces, leaving no stains or deposits. pH - concentrate of the drug is 2.0-5.0. The agent is compatible with oxidizing agents, surfactants, etc. It can be used for disinfection of surfaces with paintwork, galvanic and polymer coating, objects made of glass, rubber and other materials resistant to corrosion and resistant to corrosion, as well as for surfaces sensitive to alcohols. The product is biodegradable.
The BIO Base surface disinfectant according to the parameters of acute toxicity when injected into the stomach and applied to the skin according to GOST 12.1.007-76 corresponds to class 4 - Low-hazard substance. Locally irritating, skin-resorptive, sensitizing carcinogenic, teratogenic and cumulative properties were not found in the product at recommended concentrations. The concentrate of the product and its working solutions in concentrations of 0.25%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 2.0%, 3.0%, 5.0%, 7.0%, 10.0% do not cause irritation skin, mucous membranes of the eyes and upper respiratory tract.
