Wooden structures must be protected from atmospheric precipitation (heated and unheated with periodic freezing or contact with materials that are periodically moistened), namely: rafters, lathing, doors, wooden partitions, wooden floors, etc.

Before processing, clean the surface from dust, dirt, grease stains. The wood must be dried, without putrefactive damage in accordance with GOST 2140, and the moisture content of wooden structures should not exceed 15%. The moisture content of wood is confirmed by the relevant act (Appendix 4 of the Fire Protection Rules).

Surface preparation:

Cleaning of structures and foundations is carried out in several ways:

• from dust and dirt with brushes or by blowing with compressed air;
• from the old coating, dirt, greasy stains - by scraping with scrapers;
• from stubborn dirt - by the flow of an aqueous composition of detergent or solvent.

After preparing the surface of the wood, a “Certificate of Hidden Works” is drawn up (Appendix 5 of the “Rules for the Firefighter”).

Application:

Preparation of a solution from a dry mixture: for a ready-made fire protection solution for wood BS-13, it is necessary to dilute the BS-13 powder concentrate in warm water (temperature 40-45 ° C) at the rate of: 1 kg of BS-13 powder concentrate (GOST 28815- 96) for 10 liters of water.

How to use:

• Dissolve the powder concentrate BS-13 (GOST 28815-96) in water (in accordance with the rules for preparing the solution), mix the mixture with water until a homogeneous liquid is formed.
• Apply the prepared wood fire protection solution BS-13 in any way that ensures high-quality impregnation of the surface of wooden structures until the surface is saturated with the solution (brush, roller, spray, immersion in a bath) at a temperature of at least 50 ° C.
• It is necessary to apply the solution several times without drying each layer until the surface is completely saturated with the solution. It is forbidden to process frozen wood!

Expense:

1l-6m2 (from 0.150 l/m2 in one layer).

Package (dry mix) 1.3 and 10 kg.

Dry time:

The interlayer drying time is 3-4 hours at a temperature of 18-22ºС. Complete drying of the treated surface during fire bioprotective treatment is 1 day. Interlayer drying is 3 hours at a temperature not lower than +15ºС and humidity not more than 80%.

Storage conditions:

Store in a cool dry place.

Shelf life:

3 years.

Term of bioprotective and flame retardant effect:

Bioprotection up to 25 years in accordance with GOST 20022.0-93.

Occupational safety, environmental protection:

Transfer empty containers to a landfill. Dispose of the rest of the product to a hazardous waste landfill. When carrying out work, it is advisable to use rubber gloves and goggles. In case of contact with mucous membranes and open areas of the skin, rinse with plenty of water. If necessary, consult a doctor.
