Form: Vegetable oil of natural origin, light yellow in color, with a slight golden hue.

Purpose:For all types of wooden surfaces and products. Gives wood extreme moisture resistance and wear resistance. Therefore, it is equally well suited for outdoor and indoor use. Tung oil has been successfully used to impregnate wooden floors and parquet of any kind of wood, as well as for wood paneling and finishes. Especially successful is the use of tung oil for furniture made of natural wood, including kitchen furniture, such as countertops, facades, shelves, tables, chairs, etc. In the dried state, it is absolutely harmless and can come into contact with food. They cover cutting boards, wooden containers for bulk products and much more.

Tung oil is an excellent natural antiseptic, so outside it covers terraces, steps, decorative hedges, garden furniture, doors, arbors, pergolas and everything that needs reliable protection from moisture and is subjected to mechanical stress.

Longest life span of natural oil coatings

Properties:Has a characteristic smell. Penetrates into wood much deeper than any oil, including linseed. Dries relatively quickly, although much depends on the specific conditions and environment. Masters jokingly call tung oil natural varnish. Although it does not form a polymer film, when dried, the wooden surface hardens noticeably and becomes water-repellent and resistant to mechanical stress and the action of alcohol-containing substances. The service life and antiseptic protection of tung coatings are significantly longer than those of any type of oil coatings and are recognized as the longest known natural types of protection.

The coating is even, water-repellent, the effect of "soft touch". Glitter effect - matte.

Frequency of updates and preparatory work

Renewal of the coating is carried out as necessary, depending on the activity of operation, physical, mechanical and chemical influences.

Tung oil is not suitable for treating wood infected with mold, fungal diseases or pests.
