Surface preparation: |
Before processing, clean the surface from dust, dirt, grease stains. The wood must be dried, without putrefactive damage in accordance with GOST 2140, and the moisture content of wooden structures should not exceed 15%. The moisture content of wood is confirmed by the relevant act (Appendix 4 of the "Rules for the fire extinguisher"). Cleaning of structures and foundations is carried out in several ways:
After preparing the surface of the wood, a “Certificate of Hidden Works” is drawn up (Appendix 5 of the “Rules for the Firefighter”). |
Application: |
Applying methods with high-pressure units (sprayers) or with a brush. Temperature regime: from 5 to 35⁰С. Application on a clean, prepared surface with no more than 15% humidity (without dust, old paintwork). The penetration of impregnation into wood by surface application is 3-5 mm, by deep impregnation by immersion in autoclaves - 6-10 mm. The surface of wood after impregnation creates an invisible film without inclusions, changes color a little (but not significantly). If necessary, the application of impregnation is also possible in several layers. For better penetration, it is desirable to warm up the composition to 45-50⁰С, avoiding exposure to solar radiation and precipitation. Drafts are NOT allowed during operation and drying! |
Expense: |
For the 1st group of fire retardant efficiency 260 g/m2 (excluding technological costs). |
Retail trade capacity: |
Plastic containers: 3, 5, 10, 20 l. |
Dry time: |
The interlayer drying time is 3-4 hours at a temperature of 18-22ºС. Complete drying of the treated surface during fire-bioprotective treatment - 1 day. Interlayer drying for 3 hours at a temperature not lower than +15ºС and humidity not more than 80%. |
Storage conditions: |
Impregnation must be stored and transported in hermetically sealed containers at temperatures from 5ºС to 40ºС, protected from freezing, direct sunlight, heating devices and precipitation. It is recommended not to install more than 2 buckets or barrels in height one above the other during transportation. Transportation and storage of paint and impregnation - in accordance with GOST 9980.5. (in buckets or eurodrums). |
Shelf life: |
1 year in a hermetically sealed container. For questions about the actions to be taken at the end of the shelf life of products, contact the manufacturer. |
Composition: |
Composition based on phosphate salts and functional additives. |
Safety measures: |
When working with flame retardant impregnation, the following personal protective equipment is required: people working with this product must be provided with a set of overalls and personal protective equipment in accordance with DSTU EN 340-2001 and DSTU ISO 13688-2001, rubber gloves according to DSTU EN 374-1:2005, adhere to the rules of personal hygiene.
