Surface preparation: |
Work should be carried out at a temperature not lower than +5°C and humidity not more than 80%. Before starting work, check the surface and remove dust, dirt, grease spots. The wood must be dried, without putrefactive damage in accordance with GOST 2140, and the moisture content of wooden structures should not exceed 15%. The moisture content of wood is confirmed by the relevant act (Appendix 4 of the Fire Protection Rules). If there is an old coating on the wood, it must be removed! Design: |
Applying methods with high-pressure units (sprayers), roller, brush. Temperature range: from +5°C to +35°C. Application on a clean, prepared surface (free of knots, dust, old paintwork). The thickness of the flame retardant material on the surface must be at least 1 mm. White paint creates an impenetrable protective film. In order to achieve the required thickness of at least 1mm, it is also possible to apply paint in several layers. Drafts are NOT allowed during operation and drying! |

Dry time: |
The application of fire retardant paint is possible in several layers to achieve the required thickness for a specific project. Drying time between coats is 5-6 hours. Complete drying of the treated surface with fire-retardant paint is 5-6 days at a temperature of 18-22ºС. DO NOT allow drafts during drying! |
Storage conditions: |
The paint must be stored and transported in hermetically sealed containers at a temperature of 5ºС to 40ºС, protected from freezing, direct sunlight, heaters and precipitation. It is recommended not to install more than 2 buckets or barrels in height one above the other during transportation. Transportation and storage of flame retardant paint in accordance with GOST 9980.5. carried out in buckets or eurodrums. |
Shelf life: |
1 year in a hermetically sealed container. At the end of the storage period and after testing, the period can be extended up to 3 months. |
Composition: |
Composition based on water dispersion, fillers and functional additives. The paint is a low-toxic product. |
Safety measures: |
When working with fire-retardant paint, the following personal protective equipment is required: people working with this product must be provided with a set of overalls and personal protective equipment in accordance with DSTU EN 340-2001 and DSTU ISO 13688-2001, rubber gloves according to DSTU EN 374-1:2005, adhere to the rules of personal hygiene. For respiratory protection, it is necessary to use personal protective equipment (respirators) according to DSTU EN 132:2005, for eye protection (glasses) - DSTU EN 166-2001. |
